Greetings and welcome to 1spiricallove.
As we age the years come and go. We choose what to keep and what to release. Our minds, bodies, emotions change through years. What was once important, in time fades away, because we have changed.
Changes are part of lives gifts to us. They say, that time heals all wounds. I believe that is just wishful thinking. The holidays of yesteryear were meant to be lived in a magical time. As we age those moments that were once magical moments in time, are just memories. The memories play over and over in our minds, like as if we are reliving a magical moment in time.
As the years roll by, I choose certain moments that brings heart smiles. I then incorporate those into my life at present moment. Such as, for many years I stopped celebrating Christmas. The children have long moved away. Everything was like a dream of another life time past.
After my 3rd different cancer, things have changed. Between the cancer and the cancer hospital, I have lost 8 years of my life, I will never get that time back.
To help in the transition I’m creating a new decorating style for my home. When I finish something little in decorating my heart smiles, the same as when I use to look at my children when they were young. I have finally started slowly celebrating small moments in life.
I enjoy the little things in life that I didn’t have time to enjoy while raising children. In the next few days I will be expecting my 6th grandchild. My health is better I will go and visit.
Life takes time to grow and to become what we find in the peaceful moments in time. My life will finally begin a new in 7 months from now. For now I love decorating and always have. I finally get to be like Sisley and Ebert giving two thumbs to movies.
One of my favorites is, The Good Witch, by Hallmark. Definitely a good family movie. There are three of them but, I wish there were more. I usually rate my movies with thumbs up and down, because later I won’t remember. When I see the thumbs up and down then I know I have seen it before. Another good one, comedy, The Spaghetti Man. He is supposed to be like Spider Man. Another good family movie, Magic in the Water. My all time favorite movie is, The Polar Express in 3D. A definite must see family movie.
I do enjoy getting older, I do enjoy my life, and do it my way. Family is great durning special moments in life. But, have moments in quite is a blessing.
