I love creating crafts 🙂

The frontal lobe of the brain is the rational part of the brain.  Many humans live in this part of the brain and lose sight of what makes life worth living for.

The temporal lobes are the creative parts of the brain.

I watched a video once for 1 hour.  The scientist was doing experiments.  He had a cap attached to wires on each subjects head, that was attached to machines.

He was trying to find out why scientist have writers block when autistic people are very creative.  He then discovered, it is the temporal lobe of the human brain that contains the creative part of the brain.

The research he was doing, was very easy when a person already knows this.

I choose since I was very young to be creative, because I knew that is what makes life worth living for.

For example – take a plain subject like a blanket.  Sure that blanket keeps you warm, but it is also very impersonal.  To make it personal you have to add personal touches, that means you have to be creative and open your mind to the possibilities of how to make it personal.

I like to start from scratch.  I would pick out the material, the embellishments, the tread, etc.  Already have a direction of what I want it to look like.  I never follow a pattern, I make my own.

Basically I am creating a blanket that is original and one-of-a-kind.  When I give as a gift it comes from the heart.

It is the same thing when I paint or anything I do in life.  When landscaping I am creating beautification.

Creating is a daily personal growth, if you don’t use it you loose it.  Which means you lose parts of self.  Remember out of sight is out of mind.  Keep in touch with self.  Check in with your self daily and see how you are doing.

I painted abstract designs on ceramic tiles and two original paintings to make this collage.

Everyday find the path to be in connection with self.  To focus on creating is where you will direct your energy in personal growth.

Start small and work your way up.  Before you know it your spirit will lead you into a direction you believed possibilities are possible 🙂
